We’re excited to be spending a week in NYC this September for IFP’s Independent Film Week along with writer/director, Derek Kimball, and his new script A Winter Table.
New York City-based Independent Filmmaker Project was founded in 1979, and is the largest and oldest not-for-profit dedicated to independent film. It connects filmmakers with valuable resources for projects in all stages of development and distribution. A Winter Table was accepted into their No Borders Early Development program held during Independent Film Week in mid-September. Formerly known as the IFP Market, Independent Film Week alumni include: Benh Zeitlin’s Beasts of the Southern Wild, Ciro Guerra’s Embrace of the Serpent, Rama Burshtein’s Fill the Void, Matthew Brown’s The Man Who Knew Infinity, Miranda July’s Me and You and Everyone We Know.
Needless to say, we are really looking forward to this opportunity!
